So many thunderstorms in the last week, I’ve lost count.
With enough rain falling to have a full blown river running through our gully.
And a waterfall...
My poor veggie garden...
The cucumber, zucchini and pumpkins are thriving but the rest is starting to look beyond help.
Time to dig some trenches, I’m very interested in the possibilities of a swale (link).
The Clarence River is down again, well still high, but no longer flooding. The rowing boats are back in the shed, which was another good workout. Just as well because when I pulled up very early Saturday morning for my first row of the year as you might guess....... another thunderstorm. Will try again next week.
Yep, the rain down here has just about wrecked my tomatoes. I'm busting to try building swales too.
