Two weeks camping at Woody Head, where the kids live in trees, rock pools or on rocks and bikes. Where the bush turkeys alternate shifts for ground patrol with kookaburras, rangers, goannas, wallabies and pythons. Where you’re sure to find a wobbegong, besides the many colourful fish, maybe even a turtle or stingray when you go snorkelling along the reef. Go bodyboarding with seaweed. Pelicans soaring through the sky like bomber planes. Waking up at 5am from the keen fishermen that will be roasting fish for lunch. Mornings truly start at the bakery with coffee and fresh bread to bring along to the beach. Afternoons, dictated by chopping wood, building fires, slow cooking dinner and collecting marshmallow sticks. More walks then days. The sky forever changing, but the ferry always the same. The surround sound of waves pummelling rocks. And where the kids ask at 6pm if they please can go to bed...
It looks like you all had a wonderful time! We live in an amazing part of the world.
