Cuckoo

Another night of being up at least five times, a brewing thunderstorm that gives me a headache but turns the kids into maniacs, running around like they both had a bottle of coke, each.
Then this strange bird turns up in one of our trees, a big one. Our Australian Birds Book determines it as a Channel-Billed Cuckoo.
I could have known, I'm going cuckoo...
