The kids are a big fan of the macadamia cracker I got for my birthday, very fast, safe for little fingers, and designed with a clever lever so that even Sophie can now crack the nuts.
No more whacking away with a hammer, which works fine if you were after macadamia butter or some anger management, but is surely messy and loud.
A Macadamia nut cracker is on my Christmas wish list. There's loads of Macadamia orchards near our new place so I'm looking forward to bags of fresh macadamia.
