Kangaroo VS Car, that makes only losers.
Sander is fine, but car and roo aren’t.
I was driving the car into town this morning to get the damage assessed at the smash repairs when smoke starting to drift out of the hood.
Nowhere to stop once you’re on the bridge and then it was only 300m more, better to keep driving, very slowly.
The car was hosed down to make sure it wouldn’t burst into flames and then towed away to the garage to see if the engine is still viable. Only then they can start with the body repairs (hood, grill, bumper, side panel).
We’ll be driving a rental for the next two weeks.
The roo did get away, I hope he has good insurance too.
