Narromine

We have been driving long distances between placements, it makes for big changes in scenery. Narromine lies on the Western Plains of NSW. It's hot, dry, dusty with that beautiful red earth Australia is so famous for. The temperature hovers around 30 degrees, Quite a shock to the system after the chilly 13 degrees in Glen Innes.
The house is part of a big farm a bit out of town. The last 6k's are dirt road which you share with roo's and lizards. The quietness is accompanied by the howling wind over the plains. Two Kookaburra's are hooting with laughter in the tree and in the distant I can hear a Cockatoo screeching that it's coming to the end of the day. In all it's roughness it's a peaceful place to be.
